Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

Enrolling in University soon? It’s time to get MUET-ready!

About MUET

MUET is an English language proficiency test and is a prerequisite for admission into government and public universities and colleges in Malaysia. The test is set and run by the Malaysian Examinations Council which also runs the STPM examination. To be eligible for universities studies in Malaysia, a student must first pass this test.

Who Should Sit for MUET?

  • STPM – STPM candidates
  • MATRIC – Matriculation students
  • DIPLOMA/PRE UNI – Diploma and Pre-University students who wish to pursue a first-degree programme at a local University

About IELTS

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a test for working non-native speakers is a regulated English assessment for non-native speakers working adults and students.

The IELTS General Training assessment is for working adults who are interested to work in English speaking countries. The IELTS Academic assessment is for higher education purposes.

Who Should Sit for IELTS?

  • Working adults – looking for job opportunities in English speaking countries
